The seventh
week of my summer internship at Sustainable Princeton began on Wednesday this
week due to Sustainable Princeton being closed on Monday and Tuesday due to the
4th of July. However, on Wednesday work began picking up once again
and I start doing outreach to teach people about the new energy parklet. Said
outreach will also be aimed at informing people that Sustainable Princeton
every Saturday this July starting at 2 p.m. volunteers will be stationed at the
parklet to both teach people about renewable energy and answer any questions
they may have. The energy parklet in question was created by the Arts Council
of Princeton in conjunction with a store in Princeton called jaZams with sponsorship
from various organizations including Sustainable Princeton. The energy parklet consists
of various windmills, solar panels, and bikes to both entertain and educate
people on the subject of renewable energy.
I am quite excited for the eighth
week of my internship and I am excited to see
what it will bring!
